Kodak EasyShare V-570 Review

Reader Score: 7.04 (out of 10)
"With a big entrance at the 2006 International Consumer Electronics Show, Kodak announced the EasyShare V570 to head up its stylish V-line. The 5-megapixel digital camera is the first consumer-oriented digital camera with a dual lens system, which Kodak calls its Retina technology. This system incorporates a very wide 23 mm lens with a non-extending 39-117 mm zoom lens for a combined 5x optical zoom. The two lenses enable photographers to capture wide angles or to close in on a subject from far away - all with non-extending lenses.

The Kodak EasyShare V570 has some quirks: there is no USB port directly on the camera, so users have to transfer pictures with the included Kodak EasyShare Photo Frame Dock 2. The camera also has an inadequate multi-selector and a poorly positioned built-in flash. Nevertheless, the stylish V570 looks great and takes great pictures without much fuss." ...
